Rapid Power Management: TXU Selected Partner

TXU Electric Delivery is the largest Transmission and Distribution Service Provider (TDSP) in Texas, providing power to 2.9 million delivery points over more than 98,000 miles of distribution and 14,000 miles of transmission lines. As a TDSP, TXU is responsible for implementing the Power Factor Penalty when necessary. To counter this responsibility, TXU works with Selected Partners to correct the Power Factor at those locations that are being severely penalized.

TXU has elected to work with Rapid Power Management as a project sponsor on several of these projects, including:

Galleria Towers
Renaissance Tower

Project Sponsors

As a Project Sponsor, RPM is tasked with facilitating the project as well as any associated rebates. Project Sponsors must provide the TDSP with the following:

A project plan
Demonstrated commitment to fulfill the project objectives
Competency to complete the project
Relevant experience
References
Appropriate licensing
Sufficient insurance
Initial deposit
Pre-installation measurements
Post-installation measurements
Documented verification of results
